The Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran Donates Seventeen Books to the Centre for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia

Seventeen books were donated to the Centre for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia by the embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran.

CGIE: ‘Nizomiddin Zohidi’, ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Iran, met ‘Kāẓim Mūsavī Bojnurdī’, the CEO of the Centre for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia and a number of the CGIE’s senior managers including ʿInāyatollah Majīdī, Muḥammad J ͑afarī Qanawātī and Sayyid ʿAlī Mojānī and donated seventeen books (fifty-seven volumes in total) to this scientific and research centre as follows:

•              “The Nation’s Language, the Nation’s Existence” (Volumes 1 & 2) and “A Look at the Aryans’ History and Civilization”, written in Farsi by ‘His Excellency Emomali Rahmon’, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

•              “The Tajik National Encyclopedia” (Volumes 1-9), written in Cyrillic by a group of contributors.

•              “Al-Qānūn fī aṭ-ṭibb (The Canon of Medicine)” by Ibn Sīnā (Avicenna) (five-volume set in Cyrillic)

•              “The Works of Contemporary Tajik Men of Letters” (thirty-volume set in Cyrillic)

•              “The Red Data Book of the Republic of Tajikistan” (Volumes 1 & 2 in Cyrillic)

•              “The Encyclopedia of Astronomy”, written in Cyrillic by ‘Ātajān Nāzimev’.

•              “The Encyclopedia of the Scientists of Tajikistan in the 21st Century”, written in Cyrillic by a group of contributors.

•              “The Luminaries of Science”, written in Cyrillic by ‘Nīkrūz Safar Zadeh’.

•              “The Historical Geography of the Sāmānīds”, written in Cyrillic and Farsi by ‘Nīkrūz Safar Zadeh’.

•              “The Tajiks”, written in Cyrillic by ‘Bābājān Ghafūrev’.

•              “The Abridged Encyclopedia of the Luminaries of Persia and Tajikistan from 13th to 21st Centuries”, compiled in Cyrillic by ‘Nūr Muḥammad Amīr Shāhī’’.

•              “Divan”, written in Cyrillic and Farsi by ‘Farzāneh Khojandī’.

•              “Masnavī-yi Maʿnavī”, by ‘Mawlānā Jalāl al-Dīn Balkhī’ in Cyrillic.

•              “Montakhabāt”, by ‘Shams ad-Din Shahīn’ in Cyrillic.

•              “Al-Fann al-Taṭbīqī va al-Zakhrafī li-Shaʿab al-Tajiki: ʿEbar al-Qurūn”, illustrated and written in Arabic and English by a group of contributors.
