CGIE: A meeting of Iranian scholars and historians of the Mughal era was held at the Centre for the Great Islamic Encyclopaedia

At first, the researchers talked with Kazem Musavi Bojnurdi, the head, and Seyed Ali Aledavood, Ali Hamedani, and Mahmoud Jaafari-Dehaghi, three members of the Supreme Scientific Council of CGIE, and then they visited the library and scientific departments.

Also, these international scholars participated in the meeting “Transoxiana, Iran, and India in the Mughal Era” in the hall of the Supreme Scientific Council of this Centre.

In this session, managed by Ali Bahramian, Scientific Deputy of the Centre for the Great Islamic Encyclopaedia, Fawzia Farooq Ahmad (Professor of History at Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan) was the main speaker.

Afterward, Ismaeil Shams (Director of the Kurdish Studies Department of the CGIE), Alexander Chulukhadze (Head of the Department of Oriental Studies at the University of Georgia, Tbilisi, Georgia), Abubakr Diwanah Hamad Hassan (Professor of History at Soran University, Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan), Abbas Khamis Abud Zubeidi (Professor of History at Al-Qadisiyah University, Diwaniyah, Iraq), Ali Arghun Chinar (Professor of History at Istanbul University, Istanbul, Turkey) and Natia Bakanidze (Researcher at the Caucasus Studies Institute, Tbilisi, Georgia) engaged in discussion.
