Department for Editing Persian Articles List

In 2005, the Centre for the Great Islamic Encyclopaedia publishing house, in a council with the presence of Messrs. Iraj Afshar, AbdolHossein Azarang, Kamran Fani and Enayatollah Majidi, decided to continue publishing Index Iranicus. Therefore, Iran’naz Kashiyan, the head of the Scientific Files department, became the executive supervisor and implemented this project with the collaboration of expert researchers. The scientific journals published all over Iran (and abroad in the Persian language) have been identified. The editorial board of Index Iranicus continuously extracts the articles’ bibliographic data from the publications. After checking and homogenizing data, they add it to the bank of Index Iranicus with the help of the IT department. The seventh volume of Index Iranicus covers the years 1998-2004; The eighth volume includes the journals of 2005-2006, and the ninth volume consists of the journals of 2007-2008. Subsequent volumes will be published in the same way.
