The Great Islamic Encyclopedia includes all the historical, civilizational, and cultural elements of the Islamic world from the beginning; hence, the High Scientific Council of the CGIE decided to initiate a project to translate it into Arabic. Until now, eight volumes of this edition have been published. Arab speakers and orientalists familiar with the Arabic language have appreciated The Great Islamic Encyclopedia in Arabic, and many requests have been received for it from all over the Arab world and Islamic studies centers in Europe, the USA, India, Russia, Central Asia, and the Far East. This work follows the Arabic alphabetical order; therefore, some entries are compiled and translated into Arabic specifically for this edition.
