 This book, one from a series, is written by late Iraj Afshar with the cooperation of Irānnāz Kāshiān. Moasseyē Xānēyē kētāb has published this book. "A Bibliography of Bibliographies on Iranian Studies " is one of the most important sources on Iranian Studies. This project was first started by late Iraj Afshār when he first published his idea about collecting Iranian Bibliographies in an article in the first issue of the Journal of Irānšēnāsi (Iranian Studies) in 1342š/ 1963.

The two institutes, "The Research Treasures" of Iraj Afshār which supervises the many programs which have started during his life and are continuing after him, and Xāne-ye ketāb, which is a center with a view for technical issues concerning publication have cooperated in this publication.

Irānnāz Kāshian who is responsible for the continuation of the publication of the Persian Articles, has prepared the present volume for publication with regard to the notes remaining from late Iraj Afshār and considering the sources published since 1342š/ 1963 and referring to the sources to ensure the accuracy of bibliographic information.

The present book has been prepared in two sections: "general bibliographies" and "specialized bibliographies".

"A Bibliography of Bibliographies on Iranian Studies", written by Iraj Afshār, with cooperation of Irānnāz Kāshian, has been published in 380 pages and 1000 copies by Moasseyē Xānēyē kētāb publication.
