This
Department is comprised of two divisions: 1. Religions 2. Mysticism.
It is responsible for identifying and selecting entries related
to Islamic and religious mysticism, writing and editing articles,
and specifying titles. Specified titles in the Selection Section
are reviewed and evaluated in The department Religions and the Mysticism
and after confirmation are sent to the Scientific Files Section.
Then, the entries are submitted to qualified authors in The Center
for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia or other scientific and research
centers. After reviewing, the written articles are turned back to
the department of Religions and Mysticism in order to be checked
and edited.
Moreover,
the department of Religions and Mysticism has a close cooperation
with other scientific departments and central library for writing
articles, providing information, consulting researchers and authors,
identifying and introducing new works as well as completing scientific
files, specially related to religions and mysticism in Indian subcontinent
and Pakistan and Urdu language.
