The Department of Literature focuses on Persian, Urdu, Turkish languages and literatures. The entries related to poets and authors, periodicals, verse and prose literature, literary styles, trends and terms, orientalists, and fiction and fiction authorship are written by permanent and dependant researchers of this department. The Department of Literature is directly responsible for selecting, reviewing and approving the related entries and exchanging the views with the Scientific Files Section to provide and use the information resources. Scientific editing of written articles is another task of this department.
