The Department of History concentrates on doing research and writing articles on history of Islam, historians, dynasties and governments, politicians and military individuals, poetical terms, historical written works, numismatics and historical documents, important events, collapse and appearance of governments and other historical developments. Other scientific activities of the department of History are: Selecting, reviewing and approving the entries related to history, devising schemes for writing long articles, consulting the researchers to find information resources and to complete articles references in cooperation with prominent researchers and authors, asking researchers and authors to write articles, and scientific editing of written articles.  This department has a close cooperation with other scientific departmen departments for writing  special articles, which are on various subject areas.
