Although compiling and writing articles for general and special encyclopedias primarily requires creditable and reliable information resources in all fields of Islamic culture and civilization, bilateral relations and cooperation with scientific, research and cultural institutions, libraries, and scientific and cultural individuals in Iran and other countries is one of the main duties of the Cultural and Public Relations Section. Holding conferences and seminars to promote knowledge of members, inviting the scholars for writing articles and dedicating encyclopedias to some individuals are other responsibilities of this section.
